I would like to tell about my background . I work as freelance photographer and web designer. I travel a lot , take photos in many places. I love my job. I have met good people, and seen interesting places. I try to improve my photography skills as well as my designs. I read , study and enjoy my life.

I have been taking photos since my university years. I studied philosophy at Ege University in Izmir. I continued studying linguistics and photography in my spare times. I am proud of my department. We had wonderful lecturers. I do appriciate all the knowledge they taught us.

I am from Izmir, I love my city. My family is from Macedonia, we call ourselves in Turkish "göçmen" which means immigrant. I have a great dad (Sabri KARLICA). He gave me a soldiers dicipline work. He is a retired airforce master sergeant and always supports me when I need. My mom (Fatma KARLICA) has a golden heart, she welcomes everyone in our home. I have a sister ( Nadiye KARLICA) who is a doctor and strong lady. She has Nisan, my only niece. I have a brother ( Gazanfer KARLICA) who is an architect. I have a lovely cat Pepper lives in Ankara, my friend Rezi takes care of it. Thanks to her a lot!
I still do appriciate Steve Iverson my dear husband, who gave me the opportunity to discover the world by myself. Hope he will rest in peace. I miss my family and my friends so much when I live abroad.

Currently I live in Portland Oregon. I have been regularly travelling since 2000. I am writing my travel articles in this web site, I enjoy sharing my thoughts.
